Oh I have done stuff like that before

My most unfrugal thing happened the other day...I sat my Blackberry on the roof of the car and left with it on the roof of the car...well I think you can imagine what happened....

Add another to the "I have done this" list.

Came home from Earth Fare with my expensive and newly gotten "organic" chickens to find DH volunteer to unload the groceries for me. I missed that he never brought in the bag with the meat inside them...
3 days later I got in my car to find it smelling like rotting meat.

The good news is, after a week of coffee grounds in a container - it got the smell out.

BTDT! And oh yeah, it still hurts! It was a few months ago that my hubby picked up family size pkges. of drumsticks and thighs on his way home on payday. With that, I had no idea how many he wound up getting with the $25 I told him to use. But we hadn't used the van that weekend after his trip. Come Monday morning, we left to my dr's appt. When we opened the doors, we were met with loud buzzing sounds. My 1st thought was wasps made they're way in somehow. But it didn't take long to realize they were huge flies, and I mean countless flies. It too forever to get them out, and even longer to get out the smell. The window on my side gets stuck, so I rode to my appt. with a towel on my face. Luckily, it's only about a 10 minute ride, but all's I could think about was the "fly scene" from the Amityville Horror movie while I struggled not to puke! .

Another time I had cleaned out the fridge late at night, and had put leftovers past their time in a white plastic bag on the bottom shelf in the fridge. I left a note for my hubby to throw it out in the morning because it was garbage p/u day. Well, I also had a large ham, that I left in the white plastic bag I brought it home in, and stuck it in the very bottom meat drawer. Well, I'm sure you already guessed what happened, right? I know most of you have men of your own who speak an entirely different language than you do too? Well he interpeted bottom shelf to mean bottom drawer, and he said he even wondered why I was throwing out the meat, and was gonna wake me up to ask!! UGH! Why, oh why he didn't, I'll never know ......but goodbye to my $15 ham!

Men! Can't live with them/can't live without them! But somehow we manage to still love them! I wouldn't trade mine for all the money in the world! After all is said and done, he's still a sweetie.

OUCH that sucks. Back when we ate meat I had once stuffed a freezer full and the very next day all of it was bad because the girls left the door open!
