1 Lottery tickets -I did buy one a few weeks ago. I had to ask the clerk how to do it. It was a "joke" present for Hubby's birthday He is always saying on a bad day "If you would only win the lottery!" which is funny since we don't play it. He did win two free tickets(scratchers)
2Expensive coffee drinks - I do buy french vanilla powder for coffee when I have coffee it is at home or at church
3Newsstand Magazines- Little Miss does gets American Girl Magazine a present from her Grandmother. The rest of magazines are hand me down or the magazine exchange for free at the library
    4 Dry cleaning - nope
    5Premium gasoline -nope
6Movie concessions _ sometimes we do this as we only go with a gift card but most times we do get a cup of ice for water. They have you fill it up at the water fountain.
7 Workday lunches - Hubby sometimes orders a sub to eat at his desk
8Professional Manicures and Pedicures -never had one even on my wedding day
9High-Priced Grooming Products - Is Herbal Essence High priced?
10.premium cable channels- free HBO weekend is fun

There are 7 things on that list that I don't spend money on, ever.

Premium cable is a luxury that we enjoy. Work lunches I'm working on and have reduced from every day to just a few times a month. Dry cleaning is not optional. My husband wears expensive suits to work every day, they need to be dry cleaned.

Of that list, the only thing I spend money on is #6.....movie concessions. But that's about twice a year, max. The rest are things I just don't ever do.

We dry clean my husband's suits a few times a year but not very often. That's it for all of those and my husband would like to find out about washable suits if they exist. Does anyone know how to find linen suits or anything like that???

Does your hubby wear the suit jacket?
My hubby has worn washable suit pants for years but he doesn't have to wear a jacket and when he did he just wore it to meeting other times it hung on his do so we didn't have to dry clean it often. They have moved away from suit jackets so I'm very happy about that.

But the way the net says washable suits do exist. I don't know anything about washable suit jackets

Looked carefully at the list and realized that DH and I do none of those things and are just fine!! Everyone once in a while I think about getting a pedicure - but then that passes!!

Oh boy how times have changed...

    Before:
1 Lottery tickets- at least once a week
2Expensive coffee drinks- starbucks at least 4 times a week
    3Newsstand Magazines- 2 or 3 a month
    4 Dry cleaning- no
    5Premium gasoline- no
    6Movie concessions- movies and goodies...
7 Workday lunches- EVERY SINGLE DAY... oh goodness
8Professional Manicures and Pedicures- not these, but expensive hair cuts
9High-Priced Grooming Products- yep, to go along with my expensive hair cuts
10.premium cable channels- yes, and internet

    Now..

We don't buy anyone of those things. I will never go back, someday I may have cable, but I doubt it. There is so much more to life than sitting in front of the tv all day.

I don't spend money on any of those, but I'm not (too) smug about it (except maybe in the case of the lottery tickets, oh and daily workplace lunches, and dry cleaning ).

We don't do anything on that list and haven't for a few years.

It's funny because we are always looking for more ways to cut back but we are running out of things to do. LOL!!
