I am absolutely stuck at home this week...
b/c little man has RSV, Strepp throat, & double ear infections... (YEAH EXACTLY!) SO... since no prek for him, no church for either of us (til Sunday which is when I start to volunteer, so dh will stay home for me) & I'm trying to make sure that I make the most of this time at home... I've declared war! so to speak lol...
*get little man potty trained...
*Clean clean clean this house ~ top to bottom (as my friend/housekeeper has not been able to clean for over 2 weeks b/c everytime she gets here she gets called in to her "normal" job ~ it's $10/hour for me & it helps both of us out)
* get completely caught up on mail.
*clean out my closet
*clean out little man's closet
*get caught up on Laundry
*get at least "caught up" for the week in Beth Moore Study
*find a new insurance to cover both our house ins. & the rent house ins. as ours is no longer offering insurance for home owners or renters as soon as "contracts" are up.
*clean up desk & desk area...
*pack stuff up to go to salvation army etc....

What else do you all do when the kid(s) are home sick... hate to say it but little man will be watching lotsa Dora, etc... he doesn't feel good & other than the potty training thing... I'm good with letting him just chill out ... altho we read whenever he has to do his nebulizer... which he truly hates... can't blame him there.

My dd was sick for a full week last week, double ear infection, throat infection and a head cold. We spent most of the week cuddling on the couch, she didn't want to leave my side. Hopefully you get lots done!

Ashley ~ he's pretty good as long as he can watch tv/movies... now when he's on the nebulizer he just wants to sit on my lap & have us do story time (I admit it, I love it!)

I feel for you. My little girl was sick the end of last week and through the weekend. Both kids were home sick Monday and now my little boy is home sick. They have a viral infection that just won't let go. I suspect that it could be RSV. My little guy will probably be out of school tomorrow too, because he is still running a fever. Then Friday is no school day due to budget cuts. So far this month I have worked 1 day.

been there! poor kiddos. when they are sick they want mommy! at least in my house! hope ge gets better soon!
i usually get caught up on laundry when she is home sick. when it is a long time home w/ a bad illness/virus, i usually go through stacks of paperwork and mail while watching a movie in bed w/ her.
