    If there's no sign against taking food out then No, don't see anything wrong with it.

    Often I just have a small amount there but need to be 'on the go' so take an apple etc for later.

    And if you don't finish what's in front of you, and it's already on your plate ... well bring it w/ you.

    If in doubt, though, ask a worker.
