Nitpickers Win!!
I just heard from the store that I had written the letter to about merchandise not ringing up at the same price as advertised on the display.
The young lady said that the manager had received my letter today - totally possible - and were apologizing for the situation. There is a packet of paper for me to pick up at the registers the next time I am in the store from the manager.
Letter worked. No bullets fired!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

In most cases I find this to be true. If they don't treat us right we won't go back and in this economy could make or break their business. Good for you for sticking up for yourself!

Mahalo!! While I did not ask for anything, it was impressive that they volunteered.

Well done!
This reminds me of when my dad found a piece of shattered glass in a jar of pickles. He's not the litigious type but he wanted to let them know in case there was a problem at their factory. We ended up with about a room full of enormous jars of pickles for free that took pretty much forever to eat LOL.My Brand-New Blog: http://homeingreece.wordpress.com

I like to think that most people try to make things right when shown they have dropped the ball in some way. Kudos to them for righting a wrong and you for taking the time to let them know something needed fixing.

I considere it a win-win situation. Shall save the letter since I liked the tone of it and because I am not going to give away my money!!

Way to go, Maui!!! I'm so glad you took the time to make things right. So many times I just shake my head and let things go - not smart in this economy!

You are so right DG - and perhaps by better taking care of our monies now, it will carry over when things lighten up - and I know that they will. Now I cannot wait to get over there to pick up my paper!!
