You can hook it up with an SD cord if you have an SD of on your tv.

We got a Roku box for ab $50. You can watch Hulu and Netflix streaming along with a bunch of free programming they have direct to your TV. Before we had cable (promo offer, we'll go back once it's done) this is what we used to watch TV. With the Hulu Plus and Netflix it only cost us about $20 a month.

We stream it through our Playstation3. You can probably stream it through wii, as well.

Hulu is just an online website that has many of the current popular shows. It's separate from Netflix, and is free (there is also a paid version, but it seemed to only provide access to the whole current season of a show). We have Netflix streaming through our Wii, but Hulu doesn't work this way.
But if you are watching in on your computer, you can definitely hook your computer to your TV, but the kind of cable/adapter you need depends on your TV & computer. My laptop has an HD cable output and my TV has an HD cable input so it's pretty easy to display my screen on the TV. We also have a Mac Mini permanently hooked to the TV with a monitor-to-HD cable.
Let us know what inputs/outputs your computer & TV have and I can find you the right cable. I buy cables I need from eBay where they are super cheap. After buying the cable you can essentially get Hulu on your TV for free through your PC.

we have tivo, and hulu-plus is available through that for $7.99/mo.....and it streams just like netflix (which we also have), through your tv.
i believe regular hulu is only for watching shows online.
hulu-plus is specifically streaming through your tv. you can read more about it here: Hulu - Plus
