Yes, we could pay our debt within five years- we owe on property.My personality is such that I enjoy thinking, planning and analyzing, then I like to develop a strategy. We have used this concept with our life, as well as our finances. I think it is worthwhile to plan for worst case scenerios, and to act accordingly.In doing so you have also covered the bases for the best of times as well. It is fun, frugal and interesting to get that debt paid.Just cause you can.I have lived life with debt, and without it. I like it better, and feel happier and more secure, without it.

I like the idea of being secure. I guess a scenerio like this can get you started in thinking of what could happen.

Since we are debt-free except the house, it is a possible that we can pay off our 'debts' in 5 yrs as we are at the moment talking about selling our other house (which belonged to my dad & when he died it passed onto me) & paying off our house.

So it is possible....
