Imagine is so right about frugality being tied to creative thinking. It really IS a matter of thinking outside one's box. Necessity is the mother of invention..every invention one can name came about as a solution to a problem, often because the inventor didn't have lots of cash to throw at the problem. If the Wright brothers had been rich kids, their parents would have bought them the same fancy sleds their playmates had and they never would have needed to create a better sled...which might have kept them from working with bicycles, which might have kept them from inventing the airplane.

A fun read............like reading other's ideas for things.
I try to think of 'something else' I can use almost everything for..........I think I am hooked on the creative process of it.
I see a garden item in a catalog and think..........how can I make that out of something else.........do that with almost ANY catalog that I get.......gardening and quilting ones are just the best!! Save the picture of it too...............they all go into a baggie and then into the gardening or quilting folder...........SOMEDAY..............
