    Default Credit Cards Yuck!

Oh I don't know what happened! I was doing so well with my credit cards last summer. They were almost all paid off and now YUCK! It doesn't help that I have a baby on the way but I was hoping they would all be paid off before she comes. Oh well, I will start all over again. Anyone else in the same boat?

I am there with you, Shell. I have never had this much cc debt before. Let's see......dh had an accident at work (did not file workmans comp) -- had to get by on a straight 40 hours for several weeks (we normally live on his overtime pay); then his father passed away and we had expenses related to that; our septic system failed and we had to put in a new aerobic system; oldest son got married; etc. Since we had no savings, all of these unexpected things ended up on the cc's.

I intend to really buckle down and work on getting them paid off. That is my goal for the new year.
