Default Target was a madhouse today

    with the new Missoni collection.

I picked up a few pieces for me and for gifts, but the woman in front of me spent over 1500 on this stuff. She plans on ebaying most of it and hopes to double her investment.

The stores aren't the only thing that's been over-run... the website is down!

The clothing is mostly knitwear and it's, I guess, the coolness of the stripes and how they use so many colors.

I saw some of the home stuff, but it really didn't do much for me. A striped patter I like on a sweater is probably not one I want on a picture frame or vase.

I really really wanted the striped bedspread. Not going to be happening as I refuse to pay the outrageous fees on Ebay for it.

    Italian designer. Uses chevrony stripes.

See the bedspread on the left. That was to be mine

I can get a knitted Chevron bedspread at Goodwill any day. Sorry I don't get it.

I don't think Target was quite expecting the response.

You are lucky. Our Goodwill sucks.

It's the Chevron plus the use of color I like. I was hoping to find the piece I wanted at a reasonable price and use a MyPoints giftcard for it.

Well I can't promise you'll like the colors. LOL

I hope you get your hands on one. I bet you could find someone on Etsy to copy the one you like.

I'm currently knitting my husband a Missoni inspired Chevron blanket. If I like it I can always modify the pattern and make my own.

That's right, I forgot you could do it yourself. Go for it girl
