Great job, on the grapes. Yes foil prices are really going up, I try to buy the big roll at the supply store but always sets me back when I have to get it.

I love Sun Chips, and they're on sale at my local grocery store for $1.88 this week. Red grapes are on sale, too, but I can't recall for how much, but they're SUPER sweet this year. My parrots are BEGGING for them by NAME! Cantaloupes are REALLY cheap here due to the listeria scare, but, alas, they don't like my tummy so I don't buy them. Milk is still less than $3 a gallon here.

Looks like your batteries and foil are more than we pay here, too, so as bad as the Texas heat STILL is (100 predicted for Thursday), I think I'm going to be grateful our prices aren't as high. Trade offs, I guess. . .

I usually buy batteries at Costco but DS got a gift for his b-day that required 9V which I was fresh out of. That prices was crazy!

I love Sunchips too and try to stock up. These were on "sale" for $3.00

Last time I needed foil I picked up 1000 ft at costco for $20. Wonder how much it would be now.......lol!

Sunchips - oh I miss them! I can't eat them because they have wheat in them but they are definitely one of my favorites!

Canteloupes here in AL are $2.50, grapes are $1.89/lb.

At our local grocery store last week, there is always a cart at the entrance of clearance items. They had foil for .50!! I grabbed $3 worth.....weird since it isn't like there is an expiration date on foil.... Should have bought the whole cart but wasn't thinking at the time. Went back a couple of hours later to clean them out but they were all gone.

Ours is too.........but not by much.

Went yesterday, got milk, and it had gone up 30 cents in about
    a week...........from $2.48 a gal. to $2.78.........YEOW!

Not organic either.........but most of our milk that is organic is
    ULTRA-pasteurized and I will pass.

guess I will be checking around to see if I can beat that $........
