I was cooking a pasta dinner tonight when my DD realized that we were out of Olive oil. I had canola oil so I wasn't concerned. DD asked if I had Olive oil and I said no, because when I was at the store it wasn't on sale. DD response: "why does it have to be on sale", my response (with a puzzled look), "why pay full-price for something when you don't have to".

That would have been my exact response.. . . . . . . . . I learned a looooooonnnnnnnnng time ago that if I bought something not on sale; it would go on sale within the week!!
