Lights out when you leave a room?
When you leave a room, do you turn the lights out? Were doing this more and more at our house. When were leaving a room or not in a room, the lights are off.
How about you?

Yes, I close the lights everytime I leave a room and run around the house to check every morning if my boys left one open after they left for school...*rrr* sometimes I get fustrated because I have the impression that I am the only one *thinking* about closing them! But it sure does make a difference I can tell you...We used to leave everything open until 3 years ago, when I realized we were paying for the electricity of these lights on!

ME yes the children NO. i am always saying go turn off the light in that room. i swear I could just tape it and replay it save my voice.

It is exactly the same way at my house Heaven! Not only do they leave lights on but the tv gets left on or the radio!! I constantly have to remind them to turn stuff off!!!!!!

Yes for the most part. If I'm on the computer {in bdrm} & it's dark I'll leave my living room light on low so people will know I am home otherwise all lights are shut off as soon as I leave the room

Yes, I'm always turning the lights off. Dh on the other hand has a bad habit of leaving them on.
If I just watching the tv or surfing the net I leave the lights off too

Lights OFF! Dh, actually, is the one who just said a few days ago that we need to make a concentrated effort in this department. I am happy to comply. I don't need to be paying a high electric bill!

The lights go off if I'm not going to be returning soon. Only have to yell at the kids every once in a while to do better.
