I haven't noticed it down here in MS. They don't triple coupons at my Kroger, just double them. I hope they don't stop it. I know quite a few people who use them and depend on that doubling.
I noticed more of the coupons in the newspaper say "Do Not Double or Triple" but our stores only double the first 10 anyway so there's no clearing the shelves really.
No double or triple coupons here in Flordia at least not in my area. The Orlando Sentinal has been running articles on couponing in the Sunday paper for a few weeks now the one about two weeks ago was about how some of the stores featured on the show don't in real life allow the transactions that they let be done on the show. No shelf clearing, no double and triple unlimited coupons. It was done for the show. Customers that really shop those stores were calling them out on what they allowed for the taping.
I tell you what it would not be that easy or free usually to acquire all the coupons needed to buy that much stuff. My goodness who needs hundreds of deoderants or cold meds!!!!

We don't have double or triple couponing here, so the show isn't affecting us that way. Honestly, I don't think I've seen any real coupon changes in my area. There were more problems when printable internet coupons came out, with stores not taking them and thinking they were faked for a long time.
What I have seen is a lot more restrictions on the number of sale items that can be bought. Butter is 1.99 this week, limit one. I've been 3 times in 2 days and bought 6 pounds already and plan to get at least 4 more on Saturday with DH helping me and really it's just an irritant for people who want to stock up. Soup is 39c a can, limit 4. I have a coupon for 5 cans. So I have to buy 1 can at regular price unless I can sweet talk the manager into giving me the discount because it's going to Harvesters. (Not likely).

Sounds like we both hit the Hy-Vee sales this week. Only you did better.
I took the Extreme Coupon show out of my DVR this season. I've watched a few of the new shows, but I'm bored with it. It's the same old thing. I have no desire to shop that way, nor want to stockpile tic tac's, meds, or that much deodorant.
The episode I caught - there was a 16 yr old kid shopping and in his stockpile he had lots of feminine and incontinence products and baby formula. Things he said that he doesn't know how to use!
Again - hoarding items you have idea what the are / no use for isn't worth it to me.
My coupon policy if I have one to be used - I ask the cashier if they will accept it before they ring/scan the item(s) through.
It was only a matter of time til the show started ruining the coupon thing.
I knew that show would make it difficult for people who use coupons. Now, every store I go to has the "coupon policy" posted. It used to not be like that. I believe the extreme coupon show has made a difference now.
I dont see a difference here yet in pa. but i will say like a previous poster posted about the young boy with formula and female products that he will never use or need just because its free.... he should donate that to a family that needs it.. But i just cant see getting things that you will never use just because it is free or a lifetime + supply of deoderant and the like because its free... I believe this will ruin it for those of use that use them wisely and needed to provide for our familys
I was at riesbeck's last week stocking up on coffee and they put a paper in my bag that says what their coupon policy is, they give me 2 copies). No "free with no purchase necessary", and no BYGOfree.
No coupons with a value of over $3., one coupon per item, and a maximum of two "like" coupons will be excepted.
This sucks I never really go way out on coupons and Riesbecks is my favorite store over Krogers.
319 bottles of Vitamin water for free. This show is a train wreck I can't stop watching
