    Question What did you do today that was frugal?

    I can only say I stayed home and spent no money today! DH accidentally took my car keys to eork with him.

    I used the crockpot for a roast.

    for lunch i made a turkey pot pie..used left over turkey (got on sale cheap), frozen mixed veggies,low fat biscquk(sp), milk and 1 egg(frm green grocer99cent a doz)and can of store brand crm chick soup(found in back of cabinet).

    had toast for breakfeast and will have toast for dinner with cheese

    getting over stomach bug(which saves a great deal as u cant eat)

    I used HM cleaners when scrubbing the bathrooms. Tomorrow I will be giving Lauren a haircut and saving money that way.

    I returned something I decided I couldn't use

    I saved chinese take out leftovers for dinner this time instead of throwing it away

    That's about it so far, but later tonight I plan on buying cokes that are on sale at the lowest price we ever find, as well as get more free sliced cheese using coupons

    For dh's dinner I will grill him chicken breast I had frozen from a loss leader sale a long time ago

    I guess that the only thing that I did was buy some diet coke for $1.99 a 12 pack. Other than that, I blew it, I spent so much money today it was not even funny.
