Seriously the heat is off for the year!
It's been sooo up and down here in Michigan. 80s in March, freezing cold in April. I've had it, no more heat. Yes I hate the cold but I also hate the heating bills. No, its not so bad the pipes will freeze or anything but seriously. Bring on summer, bc the a/c won't get turned on either!

It got hot here in our area very quickly and we have been burning up. We have turned on the ac only twice, both times because the kids got kind of heat sick. I am off to buy more standing fans next week.

We most likely experienced the last evening low in the 50's last night. The windows and doors have been open for weeks. We had to use the central A/C a few days last month. We will most likely start using it again later this week.
Since we are near the Texas Gulf Coast heat is not our money monster; the summer heat and humidity and the central A/C are! This will probably be the last month for awhile with an electricity bill under $100. My goal (as it has been the last couple of summers) is to keep the electricity bill under $200.
I am SO thankful I had a new A/C and furnace installed two years ago! My summer electricity bills used to be $300+ and 400+. And we weren't even comfortable/cool.Mary

Ours is still running. It is set to 68 while we are home and 60 at night. It is still getting pretty cold at night.

We've had NO winter here to speak of. A few cool days and that's it. This morning I think it said 45 or 47 at 7:30am. Wore a sweater and long pants needless to say but probably going to wish in a couple more hours that I'd brought shorts with me.

Ama,I'm w/ Russ. I have a sweater on and can't stay warm. The space heater on the wall keeps blowing out and I am having fits.
Less lighting but I'm keeping the heat for now.

We came within one degree of breaking a heat record yesterday but will be cooling off again in a couple days.
I won't go without heat.......heat bill or not....I will turn it on when I am cold.
This is the time of year when I can change clothes three times in a day........cold in the morning=sweatshirt, then t-shirt when it heats up, and if working outside=garden clothes (read stained, ratty, old)..........but I keep thinking it also means summer is just around the corner!!

I refuse to be cold. The cold makes it hard to breath, but I alsoo refuse to get to hot its not worth it health wise.
