    Talking Frugal tip 1/5

    Whenever possible, avoid shopping at convenience stores. You'll pay some of the largest product markups on the goods bought there - the price for the store's convenience.

    In my area the convenience store is the cheapest place to buy milk. I save at least $.50 a gallon buying it there. Plus, for me, the stuff at the convenience store is easier to resist than the stuff at the grocery.

    i noticed the same thing about milk at one of the conveince stores around here too. it was almost a dollar cheaper to buy milk from them. unfortunatly i cant remember which store it was and i don't want to go to all of them to find out. i'll just wait for sales.
