    Talking Frugal tip 1/6

    Extended warranties on appliances are rarely worth the cost, especially if the manufacturer offers a 90-day or 1-year warranty. The cost of an extended warranty is almost always higher than the cost of replacing or fixing an appliance if there's a problem with it.
