Thumbs up Free medicine for the asking

Yesterday while at the doctor's office getting another prescription for my blood pressure pills, I asked him if he had any samples. I told him dh wasn't working and that the cost was very high and he gave me enough to last almost a month, thus saving us $45.00.

Always remember to ask your physician if they have samples. All they can do is say no. I'm so glad ours didn't.

My family Dr is really good about giving them to me,without me asking.I took Allegra for 6 months and never had to buy any.

Whenever we see the dentist everyone in the family gets a goody bag with toothpaste, floss, toothbrushes, scope, cleaning picks??,and I get some medicated mouth rinse..love them freebies

That is great! I never ask some samples at the dr. but I was given some in the past. I will try to think about it next time we visit the dr.

    Thanks, CJ.

This is a great idea. I have to go for my annual exam next month so I'll remember this.
