i know people who dumpster dive for them, some ask conveinience stores for the inserts around midnight sunday since they can't really sell a day old paper..some stores do it some don't....uh, i think some other people get them because they know people who work in the coupon insert distributing plant? either that or it was they were paper delivereres and they kept the extra's...some people have gotten extra's from schools(they get the parents to give them theirs or something like that, but they in turn give the school BTFE?)

I don't do any of those but I have ordered from coupon services..where it's like .05 or less per coupon, but normally I just get my extra's from my MIL, grandma and I sometimes get an extra paper thrown on my lawn by a lazy neighbor, plus i get two papers delivered since it was SUPER cheap to do so..I also belong to a coupon group where you just share coupons, when I can't get enough of what i need I go to the mycoupons.com coupon trading board and usually find what i need there..I have done ebay a coupld times when they had coupons from my area that no one else had on the regular trading boards...

I hope this helped a little

I get quite a lot of coupons at the library. The library in the next county has a coupon exchange, they put all the inserts from all the newspapers they get into plastic tubs and then people can go through and get what they want and put some back into the tub from their unwanted coupons. I keep thinking about asking the 2 local libraries if I can start a coupon exchange but I'm kind of shy about asking. Check your library and see if they do an exchange, if not maybe you could start one if they will let you use their inserts.
I also trade for some on a freebie board and sometimes here as well. And I usually buy 2 papers every Sunday so I'll have some coupons to trade and put in the library tub.
Oh, and our local Food Lion has a box in the lobby that people put unwanted coupons in, sometimes I find a few good ones that way.
And coupon trains are another way to get coupons but you have to have coupons to replace the ones you take out.

Don't forget to check out the "blinkie" machines or the in store displays which have coupons. I find some wonderful coupons that way. Also, sometimes the demo people in the stores frequently have coupons for the items that they have on demo.

I noticed lots of near tear pads and coupons put around the tops of pop bottles today when I was shopping. I was pressed for time or I would have grabbed a few more.
