I'm trying to live a bit more frugally and for me, I need rewards to stay motivated. Do you find small, frequent rewards better or larger rewards more motivating?
I think rewards are most effective when you do them as soon as possible after the thing you
want to reward.
For something that is ongoing I think maybe some little reward along the way and something big at the end.
I think part of it depends on what motivates you. Do you find yourself getting happy or excited over little things like a candy bar or a few dollars spent on craft supplies? Or do you tend to think of them as not much?

I like to see results or "rewards" right away...keeps me motivated....yes big things are nice too...but because they happen far less..I like to see lots of little pay offs...makes me feel like I am doing something right.
