How to remove oil spots in clothes
Remove oil spots on clothes by using a shampoo for oily hair.
Just put a dab onto the oil spot, then toss into the washer with the rest of your load.

Wonderful tip! Thanks! I am going to have to try that. I am also splashing myself with oil while cooking too. I hope it works!

That is a great tip. I wonder if it would work on lipstick? I got some on a new t-shirt (don't know how!?) and need to re-wash it. Glad I didn't completely dry it in the dryer.....sigh.

Two other good fabric stain removers are the stuff called "Oil Eater" that you can get at costco in the automotive section. This stuff is awesome for all kinds of cleaning! It is a great carpet cleaner to use in a steam cleaner and it takes out greasy spots really well also. You can get a BIG bottle(like a gallon) for 6-7 dollars and it is concentrated so it last me about a year usually. It is great for cleaning your tub too!
The other thing is "Goop" or any other waterless hand cleaner....also in the automotive section of the stores....it takes out many stains....even some old ones...

Wouldn't dish soap do the same thing as well...as it's supposed to break down grease and get it off your dishes?
