Default Get those rain checks !!!!!!!!

i just wanted to share a saving tip I've been using for a while...
I usually shop for loss leaders, I often find that even on the first day of a sale the market may be out of the item advertised or out of a flavor of one of the items...... Get a rain check ! Get one each time..... Even if you never use it, you'll have it and be able to hold that price for (usually ) 90 days..... This is ample time to find the coupons you need to really get a great deal on those items !!!
So get those rain checks and keep them in your coupon files !!!!!

Thanks Lori for the great tip. I would have never thought of getting rain checks for loss leaders. Great idea!

And at Ralphs, if that item goes on sale later for B1G1F you can get the raincheck price AND the b1g1f deal combined
I've gotten english muffins for .40 a pack, free cereal and more using it like that it's great!

I've just never tried it at other stores, so it might not just be ralphs that does it that way.

I've been getting them lately because my store continually runs out of sale items by the 2nd day of the sale. A lot of times they have it re-stocked before the sale ends, so I go buy some, then later on use my raincheck when things have gone back to regular price.

Our rainchecks are only good for 30 days, but that's better than nothing.
