    Default Electric bill came in!!!

    We used $20 LESS this month in electricity!!! $20!!!!! That a whole lot of money for us...omg...I am so happy.

    I didn't cut out to much this month in electrical use but we did fill our fridge with water bottles as suggested to conserve energy and we made an effort to cut down on our t.v watching. I also made sure to turn off the lights that weren't being used......our heating is gas so using less heat really didn't effect the bill.

    i'm still in shock...$20 a month is $240 a year for just being mindful of electricity.....thank y'all..because if it wasn't for this site I wouldn't have gotten those ideas.

    way to go!

    I should be better about turning off our dvd/cd player when we aren't using it. And I'm looking forward to the spring when we won't have to use the a/c OR the heater so our bill should get rather low in the next few months

    Ours should be down this month too since I was able to open up all the windows several days it was so nice. Dh wanted to turn on the ac the past couple of days!! I told him he was nuts!

    WTG!! I noticed mine went down,but I can't recall by how much.
    I'll have to pay more attention to that and see just how much I'm saving month to month!!

    WTG! We really need to pay more attention around here to everything that's electric. We could sure use $20 extra a month.
