Do weekly sales flyers tempt you??

I was wondering if I was alone here...every Friday we have the weekly sales flyers delivered for grocery stores, Walmart, hardware stores etc.....I find it best if I am not NEEDing anything to just pitch them. I am terrible because if I do start looking through them...guaranteed...I can find something I WANT!!!

I can be a very impulsive buyer so this probably explains it!

Same with being in the stores, I just best stay away!!!

Not anymore because I throw them out without looking at them (except for one grocery flyer). I also throw out any catalogues that come in the mail.

I'm an impulsive buyer and in order to keep it under control, I need to do that. That impulsive buying got us into $18,000.00 in debt. When we paid it all off 7 years ago, I decided then and there I would keep my impulse buying under control.

yes I think they really do tempt me, but on the other hand they are so helpful to me.

Like when I first started couponing I was just getting whatever I could that I could get cheap, now I'm really picky and will only get stuff I don't 'need' if it's free or i get paid to buy it

But omg, I drool over the donuts on sale, and the cheese cake, the angel food cake, even SALMON and I've never even HAD that my whole life!

I use the store ads to do my couponing and stockpiling. It has helped me so much, but even if I was tempted, right now all I can really do is look.

ooh wait did ya just mean the non grocery fliers, cuz those I really try to toss out unless I am shopping for something in particular that week

I trash the non-grocery ones. I don't need any temptation.

I do look at the grocery ones. I plan my grocery trips with coupons around them.

I look at the grocery ones, the others I look at to see if things like T.P., dish soap, laundry soap ect are on sale, then I look for coupons and price match at work....... I am not an impulse buyer when it comes to other stuff anyway.........

Actually Heather I meant both because I find that sometimes it is easy to get carried away with grocery flyers too....and really to be honest I think around here there isn't really alot of sales in their grocery flyers...other than the front and back page, the rest is just regular priced stuff!

I really only pay attention to the sunday newspaper sales flyers (Kmart, Target, CVS) to see with a coupon if I can get a good deal or not.............

lol i feel so dumb because I looked back and it said grocery and walmart ads in the original post

I've had a headachy weekend

But yeah they all tempt me, actually the target/sears type ads really don't too much because they advertise clothes I wouldn't wear and at outrageous prices

But around right now the gardening stuff is pretty tempting because my front porch needs a makeover lol

i look at all of them for the stores we shop in. not much temptation though because it takes an act of congress to get dh to drive me to a store. but at least i know the going prices of the things i need so when dh does feel like going to stores i know who has the better deals.

They don't tempt me,I look threw them all and if there's something I want I can cut it out and put it on a wish list and save for it and shop around for prices.
