Question Do you find being frugal time consuming??

When I first started on my frugal journey I found it time consuming because it was all new habits and routines to create. Now I find it just part of my daily routine and it's what I do!! In some aspects it's like a game!

    How about you?

I use to find it time consuming, but now, like you its a part of my daily routine. Its just how I live and I can't imagine living any way else.

It still is time consuming at times. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

There are parts of it that are time consuming, like clipping ALL the coupons each week, but I know that on Sunday nights I am going to watch Alias, so I integrate it in during that time. For the most part, it is just part of daily life for me.

    Yes it takes more time.
But when I get a lot of things done once a week, the rest of my week goes faster!

Yes, it is time consuming but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Looking back to my "non-frugal" days makes me sick! The money that I wasted by not watching sales, using coupons etc.

I'm like the rest of you all.....it is now part of my routine & I look forward to reading sale ads, comparing prices & clipping coupons.

Yes it sure is, but I usually have fun shopping around for a good deal. Once in a while it gives me a headache, but it's worth it in the long run.

Other things that I do in the home to try to be frugal is easy, but sometimes I get slack from dh about it

Yes, I spend lots of time clipping nd shopping. I also spend lots of time setting up my stockpile. Most of it is in my garage because this old hopuse does not have lots of cupboard space. One day I will be able to post a picture. I must say I am very proud of the frugal savvy shopper I have become. Dh is very proud of me too.

I know when I first started it was ocerwhelming because I jumped in too fast, but now it is part of my routine.

The only part that still seems time consuming to me is the coupon clipping, sorting and filing away. But I don't mind any of it because of all the money I have saved!

It is time consuming for me-at times. Like you, a lot of things have become so routine that they aren't time consuming. While others are. But, I wouldn't have it any other way!

It may be a lot of time but so is being a shop-a-holic.

somethings are more time consuming when done frugally, like hanging laundry out. but it pays off in the end when the electric bill comes. other things like baking and cooking from scratch have other forms of pay. i know exactly what i am feeding my family and i can taylor it to their tastes. and i get fewer headaches than i used to. it's worth the effort to feed us healthier food and since i look for sales, it is usually cheaper too.
