    Default Garage Sales!

I am checking out some garage sales tomorrow for some things for baby. What kind of deals have you gotten at garage sales? What did you pay? What's your best deal?

Since I have been shopping the garage sales this year for my new baby, I can honestly say that the deals are out there!!!! I can't tell you how many great items I have gotten. I even got our crib from a garage sale and it is in perfect condition. It is a Pali crib which is a well-known brand. I got a swing from a garage sale for $6, a ton of clothes, a monitor, etc.

    Good luck!!!

I got our crib last year at a garage sale. Yesterday, I went to a garage sale and bought some baby clothes and toys. I also bought a wheelbarrow. DH was THRILLED as he was just saying a couple of weeks ago that he really needed one so he could fix up the back yard.

Today, I went to a second hand store and bought some diaper shirts, toys and books for Madison. We read her a story every night so I am going to need a lot of books! I was very lucky that my brother lent me his son's books as well.

Shell just wait till about the two to three age when they decide they want the same book every night every minute of the day. I can read Where the Wild Things Are from memory. As for my best garage sell buy that is hard to decide. I guess it would be when I was prego with dd#4 I stopped at a yard sale and it was starting to rain so I asked how much she wanted for all the baby girl clothes she had. For $20.00 I got everything to clothe my dd and my niece ( the lady had had twins) up untill 18 months!
