How much gasoline?

Something I just posted in the Frugal Wagon thread got me thinking about how much money I waste on gasoline. I think it's around $30.00 a week

I have to work around 3 hours to pay for that!!!

I think this could be a big leak in my spending, and I'm going to tackle this monster! Staying home more, and combining errands on the way to and from work should help. With the price of gas right now, I should be staying home more anyway.

Could this be a money leak for you?

Between Pete and Krystal and me. we spend approx 350.00 a month in gas. We have no way around it, Krystal is in college across town. Pete works in the city and drives a big truck. I plan all my mystery shopping for the same day when they are in different cities.

Were in the same boat as I mentioned in another thread. Were keeping our fingers crossed dh gets this new job. It will automatically cut out $250 a month and more probably. I'm now doing all my walking in town rather than hopping in the van. If I need a few extras from the grocery store, they deliver.

For us, its a huge amount being paid out.

It takes almost $20 to fill up my car and almost $40 to fill up DH's truck. I can go almost 2 weeks on a full tank if I don't have to drive to town on my day's off. Although the last couple of times that hasn't happened because I worked 6 day's and my day off I had to go run some errands for DH while he was at work.

We sepnd about $150.00 a month on gas. On tank of that is mine (unless I go to a dog show). I work about a mile from home and only go to do my big grocery shopping fifteen miles away, once every three weeks. I combine all of my errands and walk to whatever I can.
