Lightbulb Thrifty Tip I think I'll skip

I get one of those "Thrifty Tip's" daily e-mails, and while some are good and useful others are a little to out there for me. This is one that came to me last week while I was on vacation, but I think I will stick to buying refill's for my intuition razor....lol

    THRIFTY TIPS - Thursday, September 18, 2003
"Pinch your pennies until Lincoln squeals."

Daily motivation to help you spend less and save
more without sacrificing your quality of life!

    Greetings Thrifty Friend!

I'm sure that in just about every household in the country
you will find at least one roll of duct tape somewhere.
It is another one of those all purpose wonder substances -
right up there with vinegar and baking soda. You have
probably used it to repair a thousand things around your
house already in your lifetime. There are radio and TV
shows and websites dedicated sley to the many uses of this
versatile stuff. But today I will share a more personal
    use for the wonder tape...............

    --TODAY'S THRIFTY TIP:
FORGET THE WAX - GET OUT THE DUCT TAPE AND SAVE!

Yes, duct tape has a zillion uses. And here's one that's
quite interesting - and useful - if you have a need for
a depilatory (you know, hair removal).

Don't waste any more money on the home wax kits that don't
do a thorough job, especially on the legs. Get out your
roll of that precious sticky stuff and get it done right!

Just roll out a strip of duct tape the length of the area
to be treated. Press it down firmly, and then quickly pull
in the opposite direction of hair growth. This works best
when there is at least 1/4 inch or more of hair to adhere
to the duct tape. (Yeah, I know, that's pretty long!) Each
strip only works once, and it may take a few tries to get all
the hair, but the majority of it is removed on the first
    pull.

Like I said I won't use this tip but they have some great one's every now and then. If anyone is interested in signing up for it, here is the link:

No but he said he had an extra roll of duct tape if I changed my mind, which won't be happening anytime soon......lol

I wonder if that was one of the uses for duct tape on the "365 uses for duct tape" calender. I'd be willing to bet it wasn't

I think I'll try that on my dh's leg first and if I like the results I'll consider it for myself.
