Thumbs up Wow, my gas bill!!!

This is the first accurate bill we've gotten since we finished insulating the living room. The rest of the house is done, except our m/bedroom which is downstairs on the main floor.

Last year, we used 319.008 cubic metres of natural gas. This year for the exact same amount of days, and the exact same month, we used 154.004 cubic metres of natural gas.

Our natural gas has gone up 3 price increases from last year to this year. The 3rd increase is on this bill.

We brought our bill down from $124.04 to $70.44, a decrease of $53.60. Woo hoo!!

I think I remember you grumbling how you were not liking that project as you were doing the insulating job. So glad you are seeing the great results so quickly. Good for you!

YeeeeeeHaaaa! We've been really worried about ours, too.

This house has been known to have a gas bill as high as 500 + a month in dead of winter.

We are hoping that with the new furnace, it won't be so bad!

Our first actual reading brought the gas bill to 50.00. But it was a mild month. Cross your fingers and I'm so happy for you!
