Default What is the interest rate on your credit cards?

I honestly had no idea until I looked. I'm pretty lucky, paying 11.99%. I am committed to reducing my debt this year. My minimum payment is about $125.00 per month (HUGE OUCHIE) but my interest is only about half of that. My balance (I'm coming clean)....is about $6,150.00. This is not counting a cc that DH has and makes his own payments on. This is strictly mine alone.

I plan on putting my ebay profits towards reducing my debt.

Any plans for reducing your cc debt for 2004?

What is your interest rate and debt (if you're willing to disclose) If we all come clean, we can help each other reduce that credit monster, and fight the urges to spend for stuff we don't need.

We have more than one card. Added together they total about $8,000. (Down from $11,000)

We have some 0% that is about to run out. Then 2 will be 9.9% and the other 2 are 5% (dh's) until he returns from deployment. Then they will be 9% as well.

My plan is not to use them and have them paid off. Close all accounts but one and only use it if we can pay it off that month.

0,goose egg, nada, zilch, zip, nothing. We haven't had any credit cards for over 2 years.

I would look into switching to a company with and introductory offer of 0% intrest for balance transfers for so many months. We found one for a whole year and had the card paid off in 8 months!

18% choke, but dh has finally agreed to go with a 5% card. He never wanted to change, and we normally didn't have stuff on the card for long, so it didn't matter but we got back into debt this year, and I'm hoping he doesn't dawdle on that switch.

We have 2 cards, one is 5.75% and the other one is 14.99%, but we pay that one off each month. And, we hardly use the other one, only for unexpected purchases/emergencies that we know we won't be able to pay off when the statement comes in.
