OK, the neighbor's are going to think we've gone too far this time!
We've got rain forecast for the next 4 days and no dryer so we had to figure out a way to hang out the laundry under cover so it could dry. Chris (bless his heart) rigged up a clotheline on the deck. Only one problem, it's not too sturdy...Momma to the rescue! We took some hooks that you hang bicycles on out of the garage and are using them as anchors in the new shed wall (I checked with hubby and he's fine with it) and then runnning the line over to the opposite side of the porch around the awning supports. I'm sure the neighbors who live in back of us are just shaking their heads saying "Well Gerald, those people just get stranger and stranger all the time!".

Well Deb, look at it this way. Not only will it dry your clothes, but you've given the neighbours entertainment free of cost.
You can't beat that!!
I know our neighbours have probably said the same thing since we moved here. Gotta love those small towns.

Good thinking Chris! Those neighbors are probably thinking "those neighbors behind us are sure smart cookies to save all that money on the electric bills with that new fangeled clothesline"

You should see some of the rigging of lines around here! Nearly every house has some sort of line up and some are quite "creative".

What do you say? Chris gets an A?

I think the neighbors will either think you are the smartest family on the block, OR they will be thankful you are not asking to use their dryer.
Just teasin. I am glad you have such creative problem solvers in your house Debbie
