    Default Old Phone books

Dont throw out your old phone books just yet. Take last years phone book and carefully remove all of the maps in it. Laminate those at your local kinkos or office store. Now you have a city map that you can keep in your car, in a binder, etc. You can use a grease pencil or a dry erase marker to make notes on it when you are trying to get across town to someplace you have never been before, or to a new friends house.

(now toss out the phone book, lol)

Wow, you are sure a smart cookie!!!! I keep the whole phone book in the car! Thank you for freeing me of one more big and bulky thing to clutter it up!

Great tip - never would've thought of that!

BUT Don't throw the book out!!

Use it as a "mat" for small touch-up paint jobs or for hot glue applications! Then just tear the top sheet off after each use & viola a new sheet for the next job!

Oh! What a great idea Debbie!! I'd have never thought of that. I have been pressing leaves in mine, and never thought to use it for other things, other than the map.
