Spring Cleaning

OK, who here is already starting their Spring Cleaning? When the weather turns warmer I get that urge to clean out the house and put away the "winter stuff". I try to get my Spring looking throws and quilts out to cuddle under and change a few things around. The nights are still really cold, so I leave the flannel sheets on, but try and change the quilt to something in a lighter color.

I feel like cleaning as well. I have to say, I am amazed at how much less I have to clean w/out the dog! I plan on going through my closet tomorrow to thin out and put away some winter things.

I'm going to save it for when I get back from Cuba, by then I'm sure it'll have built up some.

Right now I've been doing some sewing and a bit of getting ready.

But I am getting that urge. I think it's the spring light levels or something. I always feel more energetic in the spring, can get lots more done.

I have the urge gently nudging me. I wait until it is a shove usually though. I have all kinds of cleaning to do, the kids closets...again. Dh's closet...again. the laundry room...again...it never ends. But i do have a deadline for myself. I want it done before my mom and Grandmother get here for a visit in May.

I remember those threads from last year. I didn't do it then because Malcom and I were traveling a lot and then moved. There was no way I was spring cleaning in the middle of a vacation and then a move!!

But I have already started this year. I have made my list of things to do and I'm actually really excited about it. But I can't wait to hear others ideas on what they are doing.

I've started decluttering in a big way--moreso than before.

I'd be up for that spring cleaning challenge this year!

I am ready to get this place clean! I just don't have the motivation to start. Hopefully that Spring Cleaning bug will get over here and bite me soon!

I think I'm going to throw caution to the winds and get right at it! We aren't going to Cuba, so I'm heading for my closets and drawers and cupboards.

I feel an urge to purge coming on!!!!!!!!

I am I am! I get the urge to spring clean and to work in the yard as soon as the weather starts to warm and things start to green up a bit outside. I am sooooo ready!
