Doing a bit of this and that today...

HI Ladies,
I'm just popping on and off here at the Village today. In between I'm doing laundry, made 4 loaves of bread, have a hearty soup going in the crockpot and am working on some much needed mending. I even managed to sneak in a 1/2 hour nap. My oldest son has been taking over the computer the minute I step away from it.
Later I think I'll tackle the fridge and toss out all the leftovers that are a bit overripe! ICK! I thought the boys and Jeff had been eating them, but saw a few containers near the back earlier that l know have not been put there within the last few days. I hate to waste food!
I'm hoping that hubby remembers to pick up a newspaper for me on his way home. There are some great coupons this week and I don't want to miss out on them. He has our only working vehicle with him at the moment and I don't want to walk down to get one because I'm afraid of who I may run into.

Sounds like you had a productive day. I bet the bread is yummy, and the soup sounds great too.

I had just started a load of laundry when the power went off, I was also about to fix something to eat looks like I will be munching on some popcorn since it is so late.
