Thumbs up I got some great deals at the grocery store this morning!

I had to run into town to take the twins to the dentist and we went in a little early so we could hit the grocery store meat mark downs. While we were there I sent Jaysn on a wine tag hunt and he came back with quite a few for fresh turkey, ham and gourmet cheese. We used 5 wine tags for $1 off each purchase and combined them with marked down meats. Here's what we got:
2 pkgs of Feta cheese ($1.98 each-$1.00 off wine tags=.98 cents each)
3 cans of Old Orchard juice (1 day only sale @.59 each)
1 package of marked down cube steaks (.98)
1 family pack of marked down 9 sirloin steaks ($4.94)
1 marked down turkey tenderloin ($3.64-$1 off wine tag=2.64)
2 packages of marked down turkey deli meat ($1 each -$1 off wine tag = FREE)
    3.20 pounds of bananas ($1.25)
    Total: $13.54

Not bad!!!!! Tonight I think I'll grill the steaks and serve them with baked potatoes (that I got for .29 for 5 pound bag yesterday).

Graci - they are "coupons" of sorts that hang from wine bottles for other items you'd purchase! I didn't know either - thankfully Karen (veritable wealth of knowledge that she is) let me in on it too.....just can't find any here....maybe it's because most of the "wine" sold around these parts is at 7-Eleven with a screw off lid!!

    WTG Debbie!!
