    Default Allowances??

    Do you and dh get a weekly allowance??

    I used to and we're going to get back to it. Gas up the cars for the week and then $10 a pc. THIS will really help us whip into shape!

    We do allowances here too. I get $25/paycheck, dh gets $20.

    DH and I each get $25 a week. We are foregoing it this month to pay off one CC bill early. So I bring my breakfast and lunch to work and I am not missing the money.

    I take $20 per week and Mike gets $30 a week, because he doesn't like to bring his lunch to work---I'm still trying to change that one!!

    yes, and it's been a wonderful help to the budget. I'm not kidding for those who haven't tried this, you usually save that and more, by having a personal allowance for everyone.

    it saves a lot of hard feelings too.
