Lightbulb I had an ultra frugal idea

My windows on the car were sap spotted from the trees around us. we have been waiting to clean them till our watering day, or till the weekend when we can go to the car wash (have the time to go then). Well then today it started raining pretty good...I looked at my car...looked at the dish soap...looked at the rain...looked at the dish soap....looked at the car windows...

Yep I went out with a scrub brush, dish soap and scrubbed away at my car windows in the rain. Let the rain rinse off the soap and it was great! the rain stopped a little before all the soap was completely rinsed off, so i went out with a squirt bottle of water..took less than the whole bottle but it was all rinsed and everything. Windows look fantastic!

I feel extra frugal today, lol.

LOL...I have to admit when I lived in Ft.Bliss I used to wash our car when it rained. Hey it didn't rain often so why not enjoy it and use it!
