Less is more in soooo many ways!
I know I've mentioned this before in my saving diary but I think this article really reminds us how we can stretch our budget when we use less. Using less toothpaste, less detergent and less soap is a great way to start but this lady really know how to use less:

What do you use less of to save money?

I like this site! I've seen it before, but she always has new ideas to share.
Thanks Shell!

You're welcome!
Imagine if everything we used lasted twice as long how much money we would save.

Half applies to sleep as well!
Julia woke up from a bad dream at 3 am and never went back to sleep, so I had half the sleep I normally get last night, which will translate into me having half of my patience with the kids today! Wow! This concept is amazing!!!
Just kidding...I love articles like these. My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

I thought about taking my stomach pills one day and not the other...I forget it anyways at least once or twice a week..so I could save money there and it still helps my reflux and heartburns when I eat, even if I skip a day...
I think the article is very interesting. Thank-you Shell.

I only use 1/4 C of laundry detergent, not the recommended amount. I used a laundromat for years, and the owner said 1/4 C is all that is needed for a *double* washer. In fact, he installed new washers that only took this amount to avoid overfilling. I try to portion out shampoo, creme rinse, toothpaste, etc.
We are in the process of simplifying and de-cluttering. DD took all the toys/games out of her closet today and dumped them on the floor, and it really made me think "does she need ALL these games???" We are having a garage sale next week and lots of the items for sale will be toys.
