Thumbs up For those who need encouragement - one of Laine's letters

I received this letter in an e-mail months ago from Laine, but was reminded again of it at another site I visited this morning. Laine is a wonderful role model for those wanting to save and I'm always encouraged to do more when I read her letters.

This is a great one on what she did in order to pay off her home.

    thanks for sharing that CJ....

who am I to complain about anything!

I think it all comes down to motivation & determination....throw in some elbow grease & sweat, and anything is possible....

How many times have I read that verse & thought, "yeah, but not this..."

When she told about her wedding band being broken for three years, I started bawling....bless her heart....

    What a great inspiration....thanks again!

Thanks for sharing this CJ. I have this one printed off and in my Laine's Letters binder. Laine is truly a wonderful woman of God and shares her heart so freely with others. I have been blessed to have corresponded with her a few times and she is a true gem.

I was so happy when I stumbled upon her letters a few weeks ago because they have been the kick in the butt inspiration I needed! I have been printing off so many of her letters and reading one each day. They have me so much more motivated in a lot of areas of my life.

Thank you! I had never heard of the site before; now I'm hooked -- I was up at 4 a.m. reading her recipes and tips and letters.

And I called a friend long distance to tell her about the site!

    Wonderful.

Wow, I read this post a couple of days ago and printed out quite a few of Laines letters...what an inspiration and Godly woman!

I have had it on my heart that I should be rising earlier in the morning..and Laine has such good insight in this area. DH works a 2nd shift so we tend to sleep in a bit later than most, and DD dosen't get picked up until 8:30am.

In one of the letters she mentions getting our "handmaidens" to work early in the morning...i.e. our crockpot, oven, dishwasher, washing machine etc...I really appricaited her writing and look foward to reading more..

    Thanks CJ for sharing!
