Default half sheets of paper towels

I was curious how many people use half sheets of paper towels or if you grab a full sheet(s) each time for even small spills.

agh - we do the half sheet - I am a total miser and very protective about my foil, plastic bags, and papertowels. Aimee calls me a Nazi. I keep worn out socks for the kids to clean up there spills and for doing a quick yucky job (like cat barf! :surprise: ) where you might want to just throw the sock away!! I will not wash out paper towels or coffee filters like my mom did though!!

Yep, we have been buying the rolls that have ½ sheet ones lately. Perfect for cleaning up cat ! That and draining bacon on (which I don't make very often) is the only use for paper towels in this house. LOL

I'm guilty of using paper towels for everything. I finally quit buying them. Going cold turkey on this is still hard.......

I don't use paper towels for anything. I have clothes that I've sewn up and thats what I use. I just throw them in the laundry when I'm done with them.

Okay, I'm ready for my beating with an empty paper towel roll!! I usually grab a whole sheet. I was very strict about paper towel use when I was a SAHM and only had one income, but now that I've gone back to work, I've gotten pretty slack on it. Heck, I'm lucky to get a spill cleaned up nowadays!!

I only use paper towels occasionally...I've been really good about using our cloth napkins (the every day ones) or towels to clean up messes, but when I do use the paper ones, I try to only use what is really needed to get the job done.
