    Default Soak/rinse cycle ?

On the washer I generally set a 6 min wash. After the 6 min the tub fills with water then agitates a bit, drains and then does the spin rinse.

If I catch it do you t5hibnk its ok to just skip the part where ythe tub fills up before the rinse/spin?

    I'm confused...

I recycle my water...I use the same water for 2 wash cycles...then repeat the process for the rinse cycle...my clothes are still clean and I use only half the water.

On the last rinse cycle, I reclaim the water and use for flushing the commode, as well.

How do you reclaim the water? I really don't understand why the machine does the soak b4 the rinse! Seems pointless!

I have a large storage container and a recycled cat litter bucket that I use..I've confiscated a piece of extra pvc from the basement. I put the drain hose in the pvc and aim into the storage bin...works like a charm...but...container must be kept lower than drain hose to prevent leakage.

There is also the fact that wells water levels fluctuate with the weather conditions...summer time can be a pain if your well runs low.

Grew up with a well...We had to carry water from the creek to water the garden because the well couldn't support it.
