I love getting the newspaper! But, we also have a GREAT local/regional paper. I've lived in several areas where that was not the case -- the news was cheesy, the ads poor, coupons lacking, etc. The paper we now get just about pays for itself with the coupons, sale fliers, etc. For me, reading it online just isn't the same.

We get the paper for free, because dh delivers it. The morning paper is like morning coffee, once you're accustomed to it, it's hard to do with out. Have you tried calling the paper to see if they have any specials?
Actually summer is the best time to get a deal on the paper. Circulation drops due to vacations etc.

No we don't. We did get 6 months free from the builder when we moved into our house last year. That ended right before Christmas, and when I tipped the courier $10 he gave us a few more weeks free, LOL.
DH dumpster dives the Sunday paper on Monday or Tuesday nights. He gets about 20 papers. I love free coupons, LOL.
