Wink I've started, so no backing out now.......

I found some worksheets online, and also alot of links that were given here at the Village on setting up a budget and saving, etc etc. Well, tonight after supper Matthew and I are going to start our budget! I even have a price book now! I know it is going to be so hard for both of us to do this, but we so need to! We do not make much money at all and we waste alot of it, more than I ever thought we did!!!!! I'm excited to do this though, if you couldn't tell by my ef.......LOL!!! 2005 is going to be a saving year for Matthew and I!! I want to start a car fund, a house fund, and a fun fund........LOL. I have it figured that we can only take $10-$15 out of every check for savings, that sure doesn't seem like much, so I will have to divide them up between all the funds!!!!! I know those dollars will all add up soon enough and I can't wait to actually have money to fall back on in case of emergencies!!!!!!!! I hope I can stick to this, I really do!!!!!!

Don't let that mind set stop you. $10 is still $10. You can do this. It's the start of a new year and a new frame of mind!

I used to think not buying pop during the day at work wouldn't be much and that was when it was 45¢ - but by the end of the week the jar was pretty heavy !! Regardless of the amount the process is exhilerating!!! Go go go Rox!

Another way to look at it is in terms Of things that might be nice to have or that you want but wouldn't splurge on - for Example $40 per month is sculpted nails or a gym membership- for me $4.00 per week was carbon brake shoes (in a month) for my Mini or the the killer thigh high black leather boots Victoria's had on sale (after two months) ~ it all adds up!!

Go Roxy Go - You can do it. It doesn't matter the amount, what does matter is that you start and keep committed to it.

Can't wait to see your totals add up.
