I refrained even with a pocketful of Cash!!
Aimee and I went to Target to get a keyboard for her computer and a printer cartridge for mine and some toiletries. Everything in Target was marked WAAAYYYY down - we put a few things in the cart and walked around looking at all the great deals and we were talking about how neat this was and how cool that was - and the whole time the underlying current of our conversation was "Don't we already have something like this" or couldn't you make that better with something that we already have"... It was awesome - Aimee was saying it just as much as I was and we left Target with a keyboard, ink cartridge, deoderant, razor blades, and mascara - exactly what was on our list!!! Oh and two Dr. Pepper's but those are a given... I am so proud of US!!

For the record - Target has some great picture frames and candles and baskets for next to nothing!!!

Oh how very proud of you and your dd I am kimmee. Would you believe that I did the very same thing with my dd yesterday
I had the cart loaded with debbie Mum christmas dishes, christmas rugs, pillows, towels etc.......but in the end, decided I needed none of it (dd helped convince me too), and walked out with cat litter, just what was on my list for Target
Oh BTW,, is that a new pic of Ahnold?

That was my Boggle - all of the christmas serving pieces and Christmas linens!! But I have Christmas china and we didn't even get it out this year!! As much as I wanted it - and I am sure you did- I guess we both realize the reason for frugality and getting what is really important - so I am proud of you and your daught too!!

That would be a much younger Arnold!! Actually its dream date Craig Titus - who I consider the yummiest looking man on the planet!!

Good Job!!! I haven't even gotten to a Target for after Christmas markdowns. I really don't think I will. I can't think of even one thing that I truly need.
