    Default So proud of DH!

My local grocery store usually has ground turkey or ground chicken for B1G1Free. This week they are having the Jennie-O ground turkey ($3.99 for 1.25lb package) at B1G1F. I traded for a bunch of $2 off any turkey coupons that don't expire til the end of the month, so I have been going to the store every day and picking up a couple of packages.

Today while I was at work, DH went shopping for a few things to make a batch of turkey chili with. He bought 2 more things of ground turkey and when I saw the receipt, I did a smack upside the head thing - (thinking to myself, but I had coupons! It could have been free!) and DH sees me looking at the receipt and says,

"I hope you don't mind, but I went through your coupon box and took two of the turkey coupons to use today."

I could have fallen over! Not only does he think its cool that I use coupons and save money, but he actually thought of using the coupons and did it himself! I'm so proud of him!

Sorry - just had to brag.

I wish my DH was that way.. He would rather go to the big name brand grocery store, where it costs a whole lot more, because of convience.. He can just as easily go another 4 minutes and get the same stuff for almost nothing at the other store.. He NEVER would use coupons... He does like it though, when I show him that I have saved xx.xx on something, but he never thinks of doing it himself... WAY TO GO TELEPHUS44's DH.
