Dh Challenged Me!!! *UPDATE*

So, we went to the bank this morning and deposited money and cashed one of my pinao lesson checks. We divided up the money between our two wallets and dh said, "Hey, I've got an idea. I challenge you to see who has the most money in their wallet by the end of the week. I think I can keep it at the exact amount it is now." I said, "I'll take that challenge, because I know I'm not going to spend anything!" He said, "I think you will." So, we've got a challenge going right under our roof. It was so exciting to have dh really into saving money and come up with a challenge idea himself!

We would fail that challenge miserably, and then try to fool the other by withdrawing from the bank to refill our wallets, rofl.

Very cool challenge Amy!!!! My DH would have to really fight himself if he took this challenge on because there is a sode vending machine right at the end of the driveway of their worksite and it has MOUNTAIN DEW in it!!!! He's addicted to the stuff and I rarely buy it for him because it's so bad for you.

I think that's really cute and funny. It would be kinda cool if he won or if it's a tie.

Over here, I'd definitely win. lol Of course, not this weekend. I was a thrift store shopping fool. Most often, I don't even carry money and don't spend a dime in a week though.

Well, I am pleased to report a tie!!! Dh donated $5 cash at work to the tsunami fund they are creating and I paid $5.00 cash for birthday cards for fil and neices birthday today! We are VERY proud of ourselves and the race is on again for week two!
