    Thumbs up I know one of the ladies in the article CJ posted on The Bargain Hunters!

    I got so excited when I was reading the article on the Bargain Hunters that CJ posted! The second lady they profiled, Mara Phipps, is an old friend of mine! Mara and I grew up together in Hawaii!!! Her parents were master bargain hunters and even built their own home, homeschooled their kids until they hit high school and did it all on a disability check (father had severe back problems) and a teacher's salary. Mara's Mom was my teacher in 2nd or 3rd grade. They had a beautiful rose garden and the kids would sell roses to make money. I have not seen Mara since 1981 and it was so great to hear and see what she has been up to. My mom and Mara's sister Maia have kept me semi up to date on her but this was just soo exciting for me!!!! CJ and thanks for making my day!!!!

    CJ, I'm going to have my Mom get her email address from her sister Maia. Mom used to teach at the high school with Maia's husband.
