    most of the buffets we go to, they are right on top of refilling our cups, clearing our plates and so on. So we tip them.

    I don't tip or eat where cat is served. china buffet scares the out of me - notice that they are always by a vet, a liquor store, and a drycleaner. Its a team play !!! They actually caught a few serving up a german shepard - caught in the prepping!! here in Northglenn, CO - so I just don't take any chances  and it was a CHINESE place not Vietnamese. I used to love Chinese food.

    Depends on if they are quick to bring us drinks and clear plates. If so, I tip. If I have to get my own drink and food and all they do is clear the table, then no.
