    Angry I got GOT!

    Boy, I tell ya, let your guard down even a little...

    I bought two ham slices to fix with scalloped potatoes to have dinner with my kids. Didn't think too much, just grabbed the two nicest looking steaks. Got them in the fridge and left them there for a week because my menu changed for that night.

    This last Sunday I decided to fix one and put the other in the freezer. It was then that I looked at the info. They were the exact same brand, size, experation date, lot number, same everything but one was twice the price! Hmmm, why??? Then it dawned on me...one was $2.99 a lb and the other was $3.79 a lb!!! GRRRR! I'm just furious about this. Nothing I can do now, but consider it a lesson learned, but BOY did I learn!! I'll never not scrutinize the packages again!

    I HATE being had!!

    Relatively speeking, it might turn out to be a cheap lesson. Made cheeper since you passed it on to us! At least you were able to use it unlike the bargain roast I "lost" in the fridge!! No bargain if it ends up in the trash.
